A new film for "The Green Lantern"

For those who love DC ‘s classics, there is definitely good news: a new film about the almost forgotten Green Lantern, a minor hero of the DC world, is going to be released in June, 2011.
The trailer looks good and the film promises to be really action-packed and also pretty hilarious.
The plot: a test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.
Ryan Reynolds has been casted as Green Lantern, while the director is Martin Campbello, who also directed the beloved “The Mask of Zorro”, which launched the international careers of Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Let’s cross our fingers and hope the film isn’t a disappointment.
